Job Description:

  • Brief Overview of the Position:

The Iraqi Institution for Development (IID) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer to join our team. As an M&E Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation and assessment of our programs. The successful candidate will report directly to the Program Manager and be based in Ninawa, with the flexibility to relocate to Babil as needed.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring & Evaluation:

  • Design and implement M&E frameworks to assess the impact and effectiveness of programs.
  • Conduct regular field visits to project sites for data collection and validation.
  • Develop and maintain a robust system for tracking program indicators and outcomes.
  • Analyze data to generate insights and recommendations for program improvement.

Reporting:

  • Prepare comprehensive and timely reports on program performance.
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather relevant data and success stories.
  • Ensure that M&E findings are effectively communicated to internal and external stakeholders.

Capacity Building:

  • Provide training and support to project staff on M&E methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Contribute to the development of M&E tools and resources.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

 

  • Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role within the NGO sector.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing M&E frameworks.
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility to Travel from Ninawa to Babil as required.
  • strong background in PVE (Preventing Violent Extremism) initiatives.
