Groundwork’s mission of supporting people to improve their prospects and reach their full

Managers play in delivering significant social, environmental and health outcomes with
communities across the region.
About the role
The post holder will perform a dual role within the Wansbeck Restoration for Climate Change and

protect and enhance six of the estuaries in the North East.
We are looking for someone with an interest in the environment and project management,
fieldwork, and recording/surveying. Knowledge of the area, river estuaries or habitat creation
is beneficial.
The role will carry out field work using established procedures and protocols for monitoring
the interventions installed at project sites, including recording, collation, and evaluation of
the data. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to establish the social impact
of key projects. The role will include remote working, office-based meetings and on site
sessions working alongside the project team and other Groundwork staff.
