As the M&E Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the project’s success. Your responsibilities will include implementing the project’s M&E Plan, aligning data-gathering tools with the monitoring, evaluation, and research framework, and optimizing database systems for efficient analysis and reporting. You’ll track project accomplishments, gather feedback from stakeholders, integrate insights into implementation plans, and provide technical guidance to project staff.

Key Responsibilities

Validation and Consolidation:

  • Validate and consolidate project reports from Project Officers for submission to the project’s donor.

Assessments and Evaluations:

  • Facilitate school and community assessments, monitoring, and evaluations.

Baseline, Mid, and End-line Studies:

  • Lead the conduct of baseline, mid-term, and end-line studies in project communities.

Learning Platforms:

  • Facilitate learning conferences and other platforms for knowledge exchange.

Best Practices and Lessons Learned:

  • Capture, document, store, and share best practices and lessons learned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Social Work, Community Development, Statistics, or related fields.
  • An advanced related degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in conducting research, planning, developing, and managing community development work-related projects.
  • Hands-on experience in using participatory approaches to data collection and research.
  • Relevant training in Rights-based programming, Community Development, and Program/Project Management.
  • Previous work experience related to education or sexual and reproductive health is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Applicants must be based in the Philippines and Filipino nationals.
