You’ll work closely with the Retail Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the store, taking ownership of key processes and driving performance through visibility, leadership, and innovation.Make a Difference Every Day

• Support and deputise for the Retail Manager, helping to lead and inspire a team committed to customer excellence.
• Deliver consistent commercial performance by maintaining high operational standards and stock availability.
• Take initiative to improve store operations and the customer offer through innovation and data-driven insights.
• Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members in an inclusive and empowering environment.
• Build meaningful connections with the student body and local community to strengthen engagement and service.
• Help manage budgets, interpret sales and operational data, and prepare reports to inform continuous improvement.
• Play a key role in driving forward store targets, team accountability, and positive culture on the shop floor.

You’ll Thrive if You Have:

• Experience in a customer-facing retail or convenience environment, ideally in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• A passion for excellent customer service and a can-do attitude.
• Strong people skills and the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Commercial awareness and confidence working with sales and performance targets.
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt to a fast-moving retail environment.
• Good IT skills and experience with administrative or reporting systems.
