Descrição das funções
O condutor é contratado:
- No apoio às actividades relacionadas com o projeto, sob instruções do seu responsável hierárquico e/ou técnico. Através da logística, deve manter o seu supervisor informado de todos os problemas relacionados com os meios de transporte sob a sua responsabilidade.
As suas principais responsabilidades são:
- Assegurar durante o transporte Agentes directos, se necessário.
- Transportadores que realizam actividades no âmbito do projeto
- Transportar materiais e equipamentos conforme necessário e solicitado pela GiveDirectly.
- Assegurar a disponibilidade e o bom funcionamento dos meios de transporte que lhe são devolvidos e que passam a estar sob a sua responsabilidade durante todo o período de emprego;
- Verificar regularmente (diariamente, semanalmente e mensalmente) o estado dos meios de transporte sob a sua responsabilidade;
- Preencher diariamente o livro de registo para cada movimento efectuado com o veículo.
- Estar disponível para efetuar missões de serviço no terreno.
- Manutenção dos recursos;
- Verificar a disponibilidade de meios de primeiros socorros (estojo de primeiros socorros, extintor de incêndio) e de meios de emergência (caixa de ferramentas, pranchas de madeira, enxada, catana) a bordo do veículo sob a sua responsabilidade;
- Controlo e comunicação de quilómetros;
- Monitorização e comunicação do consumo de combustível, óleo do motor;
- Ser responsável
Perfil procurado
- Experiência mínima de 3 a 5 anos como motorista de campo.
- Experiência profissional de supervisão de carrinhos numa ONG internacional
- A experiência em mecânica automóvel será uma vantagem
- Experiência de trabalho no domínio humanitário.
- Capacidade de trabalhar em equipa
- Excelentes capacidades de comunicação
- Vontade e capacidade de flexibilidade e adaptação face a dificuldades e condições de trabalho frustrantes.
- Proficiência nas línguas locais da comunidade-alvo;
- Bom conhecimento das zonas do projeto (Zona Norte)
- Boa condição física e capacidade para enfrentar condições climatéricas e terrenos difíceis

About the hiring process
Format: The hiring process follows the same general outline for all open roles:
First interview (30 mins)Take home skills assignment (~2 hours)Second interview (1 hour)*Third interview (1 hour)*Final interview (1 hour)Reference checks (30 mins each)
*For some roles, second & third interviews are combined into a panel interview. If there are adjustments or variations on this process, those changes will be communicated during the first interview.
Venue: We conduct interviews over Google Meet with camera on (unless communicated otherwise).
