Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager – North & Central, you will be working closely with our Supply Chain, Sales and Logistics teams. The Multi Site Manager will be accountable for the health and safety of all site staff, site compliance, budgetary control, planning of production and all matters relating to material supply from the site. In this role you would be required to work at both sites throughout the week managing employees at both sites.In this role, you will:Responsible for all work undertaken in the Packing Plants / Cement Depot including infrastructure.Customer focus and Liaison work, working with sales to grow the products.To lead and manage all Tarmac UK and contractor personnel working in the Packing Plant / Cement Depot areas, with safety as the key priority.Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation.Develop and maintain the Packing Plants health and safety and compliance documents in order to fully meet the ISO requirements.Implement and ensure compliance with Tarmac health and safety systems / standards and best practices.Ensure that all work undertaken in the Packing Plants are risk assessed and safe-working procedures are put in place.Ensure that all accidents and incidents are reported, and fully investigated and corrective action taken as necessary.Project management of projects within the Packing Plants within agreed timescales and budgetExperience of undertaking risk assessments and developing safe working procedures.Experience of managing teams and staff development.Excellent Customer engagement skills and the ability to focus on the customer.Project management experience.Effective Budgeting and cost control skills.IT Literate – Microsoft plus in house packages such as Intelex, SAP, VAS, JDE and TFPStrong problem solving and trouble shooting skillsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levelsProven organisational skills, with high levels of accuracy and precisionNEBOSH and/or IOSH certificates
