This post requires a deep understanding of social channels, authentic content, and effective integration across both print and digital platforms. You will need to demonstrate a nuanced understanding of the UK Gen Z audience and tailor marketing efforts accordingly, while also being aware of the upcoming Gen A group born after 2010.Responsibilities include maintaining the University’s brand identity, managing multiple marketing campaign deliverables, coordinating media plans and creating advert copy. The post involves working with internal colleagues, suppliers and AI platforms to produce materials, manage budgets and ensure campaign efficiencies.We want you to be able to carry out your work in a way that best supports UON and our students, but also you as an individual. With Smarter Working you can work with increased flexibility, if you would like to, which can facilitate greater freedom and autonomy.About YouThe successful candidate will have proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making. You should possess excellent project management skills, the ability to work under pressure and excellent attention to detail. Demonstrated skills in creating compelling marketing messages and in-depth knowledge of social media platforms and trends, particularly for the Gen Z audience, are essential. You should be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team, foresee potential problems, and adapt to organisational change and technological advances.QualificationsEssential;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
