JOB DESCRIPTION

General Qualifications

University degree in aviation engineering related field, or Quality Management.
Minimum three years’ experience in the field of Quality at management level.
Minimum five years’ experience in a QA post in aviation organisation
Knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) standards and policies.
Very good analytical skills, ability to show sensitivity to problems and ability to lead problem-solving initiatives.
Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills and excellent negotiation abilities.
Ability to manage time and work effectively under pressure while producing quality products under short notice deadlines.
Ability to develop resourceful and effective solutions to problems (including personnel), focus on team performance goals and track metrics to measure performance improvements.
Sound digital literacy with experience in using office automation systems and software applications, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Specific Qualifications

Excellent knowledge of ISO 9001 standard implementation and evaluation / Lead auditor qualification.
Thorough knowledge of ISO 19011 standard and auditing/compliance monitoring experience in an aviation environment.
Thorough experience with weapon (aircraft and related equipment) systems management, quality and airworthiness processes in an aviation environment.
Thorough knowledge of Aviation Regulations, in particular European Aviation Safety Agency, USA Federal Aviation or Military Airworthiness requirements.
Knowledge of and experience with safety and risk management.  Good knowledge of ISO 45001 standard.

LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS

NATO’s official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English while working knowledge of French is desirable.

POST DETAILS

Basic monthly salary: HUF 2 521 307, tax free.
