If you hold experience within the Mental Health and/or AOD sector, enjoy variety in your day and working closely with other service delivery professionals, you may be the person we’re looking for!
As the NAIS Service Advisor (Tier 1) your responsibilities include:
- Being the first point of contact at 1300 EACH (003 224) for a diverse range of people in a non-judgmental and empathetic manner. This includes managing and responding to a high volume of phone and email enquiries.
- Identifying the initial needs of customers and provide triaging services to all EACH services across Australia.
- Providing excellent customer services, engage, assess, and support individuals who access our services, and work as a team to meet key deliverables.
- Prioritising the needs of clients who are accessing services including Drug and Alcohol, mental health (counselling), family violence and identifying complex needs.
Who we are looking for
Along with a passion for supporting others, you will have:
- Experience working with individuals within the Mental health and/or Drug and Alcohol sector.
- High-achieving mentality, exceptional communication skills, and an engaging phone manner.
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar high volume, fast paced environment.
- Experience supporting people with complex needs is highly sought.
- IT savvy with ability to use multiple platforms to record data.
- An ability to demonstrate empathy and patience with customers by being understanding and non-judgmental.
Mandatory Qualification/s, Competencies and/or Licences
- Minimum Certificate IV Community Services, Welfare or other relevant qualification or willingness to obtain same and/or significant experience in a similar role.
