Description of the Assignment:  National Consultant for the development of Terms of Reference and acceptance of works.

 Period of assignment/services: 30 working days within 6 months from the date of contract signing, (presumably July – December 2024).

Place of duty: at the location of the consultant with one visit to Karoi village and Ile-Balkhash SNR, Balkhash district, Almaty oblast.

The purpose of this assignment Development of technical specifications, participation in the technical evaluation of proposals of potential suppliers and acceptance of services rendered, the following three DEDs:

– DED of a fire lookout tower;

– DED of a forest fire station of the 2nd type.

– DED of the administrative building of the Ile-Balkhash SNR;

 Short description of the project

The “Creation of conditions for reintroduction of the Turan tiger and assistance in the preservation of natural, historical and cultural objects of the Ulytau mountain range” project (hereinafter – the Project) is aimed at creating a sustainable base for tiger reintroduction in historical habitats on the basis of the ‘Ile-Balkhash’ State Natural Reserve. To achieve it, the Project will carry out a comprehensive improvement of the material and technical base of the “Ile-Balkhash” State Nature Reserve (“Ile-Balkhash” SNR).

Короткое описание проекта

Проект «Создание условий для реинтродукции туранского тигра и оказание содействия в сохранении природных и историко-культурных объектов горного массива Улытау» (далее – Проект) направлен на создание устойчивой базы для реинтродукции тигра в исторических местах обитания на базе Государственного природного резервата «Иле-Балхаш». Для ее достижения, в ходе проекта будет осуществлено комплексное улучшение материально-технической базы Государственного природного резервата «Иле-Балхаш» (ГПР «Иле-Балхаш»).
