Description of the Assignment: 

The Aspire to Innovate (a2i) project builds on the Government of Bangladesh’s efforts to introduce a citizen-centric culture of innovation in civil services to improve service delivery and make services more inclusive, affordable, reliable, and easier to access. This project provides support to establish institutional mechanisms and improve accountability to accelerate SDG achievements in Bangladesh.

The a2i project is going to recruit a National Consultant for Resource Mobilization who will be responsible for developing project proposals for a2i, coordinating the plan, and providing writing and analysis to the resource mobilization team. He/ She will directly work with the Project Manager about a2i initiatives, positioning a2i as a trusted and credible partner of the Government’s Smart Bangladesh vision. He/she will also develop numerous policy strategies and knowledge products for a2i on resource mobilization. The Consultant will maintain a close working relationship with the AI Project Planning Team, Resource Mobilization Team, Project Manager, Policy Advisor, and other stakeholders.

Objective

The main objectives of the assignment will be the following:

 Provide support to produce strategic documents like research proposals, concept notes, etc. to achieve the vision of Smart Bangladesh.

 Provide policy analysis support for the framework of AI in public service delivery.

 Develop proposals and prepare reports on the Digital Public Infrastructure.

 Develop concept proposals for GRS Phase II resource mobilization.

 

Period of assignment/services: 70 (Seventy) working days over five months.

 

The proposal should be submitted directly to the portal no later than the indicated deadline.
