 Description of the Assignment:   

This consultancy aims to assist the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) in developing a trade finance risk management framework, identifying vulnerabilities, and creating a roadmap for improvement. The primary objective of this study is to conduct an in-depth analysis of trade finance risk management practices in Bangladesh. This involves identifying challenges, opportunities and recommending best practices from other peers. The study will evaluate risk identification, measurement, monitoring, and mitigation techniques, providing actionable recommendations to minimize trade finance risk management and contribute to improving the trade balance of Bangladesh.

Period of assignment/services: 40 working days for Two months, starting from November 2023.
