National Education Officer Early Childhood Education

UNICEF Laos is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and highly proactive individual to support our Early Childhood Education (ECE) work. The Education Officer-ECE will be working closely with the Ministry of Education and Sports in the delivery and monitoring of ECE interventions, supporting the capacity development of ECE service providers, and helping raise the demand for quality ECE services. The Education Officer-ECE will also support the development of policies and strategies related to ECE, as well as research and documentation to generate evidence for increased investments in ECE, and support partnerships building.

Minimum requirements:

Education:

• A university degree in one of the following fields is required: education, psychology, sociology, or another relevant technical field.

Work Experience:

• A minimum of two year of professional experience in programme planning, management, in education or ECE is required.
• Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.

Language Requirements:

• Fluency in English is required
