Introduction

Responsibilities
AAN Associates is seeking a highly qualified National Evaluation Expert in Uganda.
- Conduct a rigorous impact and economic evaluation of UN-led interventions from 2019-2024.
- Assess the contribution of health systems and Social and Behavioral Change Communications interventions to maternal and child nutrition and health.
- Evaluate the cost efficiency/effectiveness of health systems strengthening on RMNCAH, nutrition services.
- Utilize a mixed methods approach, including Key Informant Interviews and Focus Group Discussions.
- Compare results between intervention and counterfactual districts using the Difference in Difference (DiD) approach.
Requirements:
- National of and based in Uganda.
- Minimum 7 years of experience conducting evaluations, research, or assessments, particularly in the Health sector.
- Proven experience with qualitative data collection and analysis methodologies.
- Strong skills in processing and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data using analytical software/tools.
- Excellent writing and communication abilities to produce high-quality reports and deliverables.
- Knowledge of the UN system and work is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and relevant local language(s).
