Introduction : UNDP Bhutan would like to seek the services of a National IT firm for Healthcare Waste Management (HWCM) project.

This assessment shall cover the following tasks:

i. Conducting a comprehensive review and assessment of the current e-BMSIS to understand the existing platform.

ii. Understand the existing workflows for healthcare waste management and add to the e-BMSIS.

iii. Identifying areas for improvement and enhancement, and implementing upgrades to the system infrastructure on Current Technology stack:

a) Programing language: Java (Spring)

b) Programming Framework used: Java (Spring)

c) Database: PostGres

d) Web Server: http://e-bmsis.dmshi.gov.bt:8080/DoMSHI/index.do

e) Server OS

iv. Developing and integrating new features and functionalities (not limited to dashboard for executive snap shots, medical waste and for generating consolidated reports) to enhance supply chain management and healthcare waste management module.

v. Implementing robust data quality assurance measures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.

vi. Conduct thorough testing and validation of the integrated system.

Deploy the integrated system across healthcare facilities (10-15 TOTs as determined by MoH) and provide training on system usage and best practices.
