National Services Directorate (NSD) are the National Commissioners national specialist services for rare conditions or highly specialist needs., We also support NHS Scotland through hosting a range of national networks managing national risk share schemes and commissioning national screening programmes. We ensure that the services we commission and manage continue to be patient focused, delivering improved health outcomes, reduced health inequalities and value-based health care. The successful candidate will join a vibrant team within the NSD and report to the Director of NSD. You will have opportunities to work with a diverse range of staff both nationally and internationally across the whole range of our services.The Candidate:You will require to be a registered medical practitioner or GP licensed to practice in the UK and on the GMC register. You will also be a proven professional leader with demonstrable experience of working across multi-disciplinary teams. You will be an excellent influencer with the ability to develop effective customer relationships and to drive strategic service development.The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme/Disclosure Scotland check.
