Position Overview
The Native Habitat Operations Manager oversees and leads Get Outdoors Nevada’s Native Habitat Program, serving as the primary steward of program strategy, implementation, and quality across Native Habitat sites in Southern Nevada. This full-time supervisory role is responsible for guiding environmental education, partner engagement, and impact reporting while ensuring the program operates effectively and consistently.
This position owns the full lifecycle of the Native Habitat Program, from seasonal planning and habitat maintenance to planting events, teacher training, curriculum development, and program evaluation. The Operations Manager acts as the program’s primary public representative and collaborates closely with the leadership, staff, municipal partners, educators, contractors, and volunteers.
In this role, the Operations Manager provides clear direction, structure, and workflow coordination to part-time Native Habitat Program Coordinators and plays a key role in shaping the program’s growth, quality, and long-term sustainability.
