Natural Area Field Manager

Job is located in Bedford Hills NY, about an hour north of NYC. Daily reporting to the nursery at 6:45am is required.

We are a ecologically progressive firm and work in a wide range of locations, this can include longer commutes to job sites.

This role is responsible for all of our natural area management and new project installations including meadow areas, wetlands, woodlands and shrublands. Currently a hybrid role where some field work is expected.

• Individuals should have a strong knowledge of invasive species management as well as plant identification ability
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Valid drivers license
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar leadership role
• Licensed pesticide applicator in NY / CT
• Able to communicate clearly with clients and team members
• Scheduling, coordinating work and doing daily paperwork related to the projects
• Able to use drones and other mapping programs for tracking progress
