Natural Resource Specialist Intern

Intern will assist in program and conservation planning for soil and water practices such as cover crops, prescribed grazing, water ways, livestock pipeline & tank designs, diverse crop rotations, grass and alfalfa plantings, and others common conservation practices. Assignments are developmental in nature and upon completion of 640 hours of internship work experience and a college degree that includes a minimum of 24 credits of science-based courses, the Intern will gain the necessary competencies leading to conversion to a permanent fulltime position with the USDA-NRCS.
