Natural Resources Project Coordinator

This is a four-year grant funded position to support the implementation of a $6 million Urban and Community Forestry grant project which is centered around urban forestry planning and management, engagement and outreach, and workforce development. This position along with the Project Liaison will coordinate with our project partners (Greentendersglobal.netspaces, UTC, and Southeastern Conservation Corps) to meet the objectives of the grant project in a timely manner. More specifically, the Project Coordinator will carry out tree planting, young tree care, riparian buffer improvement, and invasive species management projects on City-lands via internal staff, volunteer events, or contracted vendors; develop and lead a citizen science program; assist with workforce development training curriculums; and assist with general project outreach.
