Nature and Climate Officers x2

Location: Based from the Margrove Heritage Centre, Boosbeck and working with
communities in Redcar & Cleveland 
Salary: £24,200 pro rata
Contract type: Fixed-term 3 years
Working hours: two posts with flexible working ranging from full-time (37.5 hours) to a
minimum 2.5 days per week

We are looking for two members of staff to deliver the All Our Futures, nature and
climate project in Redcar and Cleveland. Are you able to capture the passion, imagination and
resources of the people within a community to make positive changes for wildlife and the
climate? If so, this could be the job for you...

All Our Futures is a new project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund which has a
clear focus on the link between nature and climate. We want to demonstrate that by creating a
deeper connection with nature we might change people’s behaviours and attitudes towards the
environment. It will also show the value of bringing nature back into the places we live and
work, and how this helps us adapt to the impacts of a changing climate.

This is a joint project involving Tees Valley Wildlife Trust and The Junction Foundation, a
charity which works for children, young people and their families. It has additional support
from Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.
