Nature-Based Early Childhood Educator

Calling fellow nature-based educators, forest school teachers and nature play nerds on Cape Cod!

Conchitas Outdoor Learning and Play is seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable team members to support our growing program on the Cape! 

We are a new organization offering nature-based play and outdoor learning for children ages 0-6 and their families. We create and lead low-cost programming to support child-led nature-based opportunities for learning and play for all children and families, and work for equitable nature access here in our community. 

We are launching new programs this fall and looking to expand our team of educators to be able to serve more families and offer more opportunities for nature play across the Cape. 

All educators must be 18 years old, First Aid/CPR certified and be able to pass a background and CORI check, and be able to offer nature-based programming that aligns with our community agreements. Educators in our half day programs must also be able to obtain EEC FCC Assistant certification.

To ensure representation across as many diversity dimensions as possible and in acknowledging the value of all lived experiences, we do not carry any minimum entry requirements for hire. Rather, we require that all educators have an educational and/or lived experience background that demonstrates a commitment to early childhood education and creating safe, nurturing spaces for young learners in outdoor spaces.
