Humber Nature Partnership
tendersglobal.net
Are you an excellent manager and partnership worker with a passion for the
natural environment?
We are seeking a Manager to drive forward our partnership to achieve the
sustainable management of one of the most important estuaries in Europe, to ensure the conservation
of the estuary’s internationally important wildlife and wildlife habitats.
As Manager you will deal
with the day-to-day activities of running the organisation, but also look to innovate and create
more opportunities for nature’s recovery, working with key partners across the area, locally and
nationally. We are looking for a partnership manager with business management, planning, project
management and advocacy skills, with an understanding of nature’s role in delivering a more
sustainable way of living.
The Humber Nature Partnership is one of 48 Local Nature Partnerships
around England. We work with our member organisations from the public, private and voluntary
sectors to deliver the sustainable management of the Humber Estuary. Our mission is: “Industry and
Nature in harmony in one of Europe’s great estuaries”.
The Humber Estuary is a great place to work.
The largest coastal plain estuary on the east coast of Britain, drains 20% of the total land
surface of England, the country’s largest port complex with over 40,000 international shipping
movements per year, internationally important for its bird populations but also the largest cluster
of industrial emissions of carbon dioxide.
This is a permanent post with flexibility for full or
part-time working. For an informal discussion about the post please contact Paul Learoyd at
