Key responsibilities:Network Operations Control are responsible for the Load Control function. With a high level of focus on safety, on-time departure, maximum capacity utilisation, fuel optimisation and extra load device (ELD) loading, to ensure the efficient operation of the EU and Intercontinental air network.Team:
- Delegate tasks to team members.
- Facilitate Performance Dialog board in collaboration with the supervisor and independently in their absence.
- Oversee ULD build up against allocation.
- Monitor load control process (Focus: reload/ramp communication, cut-off compliance, fuel optimisation) and provide details to supervisor for feedback to load controller.
- Review flight performance with load controller to recognise successes and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure voids are filled with ELDs and report on performance.
- NRU acknowledgement and implementation.
- Ensure team works in compliance to Aerologic processes (where applicable).
- Proactively communicate any challenges with supervisor/manager on shift.
Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to process standardisation, documentation, roll-out and review.
Reporting:
- Provide key performance metrics to the supervisor for performance dialog facilitation.
Support Team:
- Ensure NMIV timestamps and delay codes are captured accurately and on time and ensure this information is published professionally.
- Coordinate with Service Quality to ensure that NSI checkpoints are captured accurately and on time.
- Oversee the crew liaison function to ensure NOC are offering a professional service to crews and jump seat passengers. Oversee the successful fuelling operation on shift. Oversee the AHS + F11 and Offload process.
- Contribute to process standardisation, documentation, roll-out and review.
- Provide key performance metrics to the supervisor for performance dialog facilitation.
- Facilitate Performance Dialog board in collaboration with the supervisor and independently in their absence.
- Ensure planes are planned to be loaded while adhering to all safety guidelines
You’ll bring to this role:
- Attention to detail
- Able to react quickly to constant changing priorities
- Computer confident the ability to use MS Applications – Office, Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint
- An efficient and clear communicator
- English and Maths qualifications
- Beneficial- Mass & Balance Trained, Aerlogic Trained (preferred – expectation to complete if role successfully attained), Advanced ULD Trained. Strong AHS/BRUHUB4 knowledge.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Any experience in Network Operations Control. Previous experience in the sort/ramp operation also highly beneficial.
- A safety first attitude.
