Key responsibilities:· Planning & organising daily NCG Road operation activity· Co-ordination and review of Road Operation, and collaborating with sort and Operations management team.· To work under pressure, whilst maintaining a customer focussed outlook.· To work within time frames whilst responding positively to last minute changes· Working to the highest standards of Health and Safety procedures· Maintaining equipment and resolving any technical issues that may arise.· Communicating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages and documents.· Reporting on key performance indicators and metrics to track and measure performance and identify areas for improvement.· Understanding and analysing area KPI’s (e.g. missed connection, DF data, BOS etc.) and implement corrective actions.· Securing and weighing of all export containers and recording/passing this information on to all relevant departments.· Understand required staffing levels.· Guide, support, coach and motivate the team and work towards meeting departmental KPI’s .· Supervising and leading a team of NCG Agents to ensure efficient and accurate sorting of packages and documents.· Ensuring compliance with safety and security procedures and regulations.· Training new NCG Agents and providing ongoing coaching and feedback to improve performance.· Prioritise workload of self and others· All employees are responsible for the health and safety of themselves and also those affected by their activities.· You are expected to take appropriate action when any situation occurs that could create a serious or imminent risk to the Health and Safety of yourself or any person whilst at work.· You must conduct yourself in an orderly manner within the workplace, ensuring that correct uniform and PPE is worn when required.· For a full list of Health and Safety regulations, including any specific to your job role, please refer to the Health and Safety department.You’ll bring to this role:
