About the role
An opportunity exists for a full-time NDIS Finance Officer to join our Head Office team, and to work with our NDIS financial processes. It is a role that will suit someone who is building their career in Finance, has demonstrable proven attention to detail and the willingness to learn, has good knowledge of the NDIS and related financial procedures; and who believes in the value of what we do here at ONCALL.
Key responsibilities
- Track NDIS Funding to ensure supports delivered by ONCALL align with plan budgets
- Submit payment claims to the NDIS Portal / relevant funding body and report results to the business
- Communicate and build professional relationships with managers & internal stakeholders
- Work proactively to minimise rejected payment claims through established processes
- Maintain and use software systems including XERO and ONCALL’s customised databases
From you, we need:
- Some prior experience in a similar role, and an understanding of NDIS Plans and Funding; including of the various Funded Support options.
- Experience working with Government portals will be highly regarded.
- Experience in XERO and Microsoft programs, including Word, Power Point, Excel.
- Strong time management and problem solving/analytical skills, especially using your NDIS knowledge to deal proactively with issues.
- Exceptional communication and reporting skills.
- Have a current (or be willing to obtain) WWC check and NDIS Workers Screening Check.
