About the Role
As an NDIS Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing best-practice support coordination to members based on their NDIS Plan and service agreements, ensuring the fulfilment of member customer satisfaction.
You will also:
- Lead support coordination for an assigned caseload, ensuring member satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain regular contact for goal renewal, service provisions, and spending with assigned members.
- Enhance members’ understanding of NDIS plans and the roles of the NDIA, Local Area Coordinators, and others on the team.
- Provide services in alignment with members’ NDIS plans and service agreements, meeting all specified needs.
- Establish budget forecasts and allocate support coordination budgets for members.
- Collaborate with NDIS and key stakeholders to ensure members receive eligible entitlements.
- Work internally to meet financial, employment, and support worker needs, supporting plan renewals and management activities.
A Bit About You
To have success in the role you will be a flexible and dynamic individual with the ability to drive person-centred services. You will also have:
- Proficient understanding of the NDIS and knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and practices.
- Prior experience in a similar Support Coordinator position or a role in Disability Services.
- Effective caseload prioritisation and daily management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities, emphasising member focus, confidentiality, influence, and collaboration.
- Genuine dedication to social justice for individuals with disabilities and demonstrated the highest levels of integrity and ethical behaviour.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- An unrestrictive Driver’s License, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children’s Check (WWCC).
