The Division of NEPHROLOGY AND HYPERTENSION AT STONY BROOK MEDICINE is recruiting for a full time clinical faculty member with a focus on outpatient clinical nephrology.
Stony Brook is located in suburban Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, offering excellent schools and wonderful recreational activities, including access to beaches, boating and the cultural wealth of New York City. The level of appointment will be dependent on credentials and experience.
Required Qualifications:
MD (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Board Certified/Eligible in Nephrology. Candidate should have a strong clinical background to assume patient care and teach residents, fellows, and medical students.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience teaching, organizing educational programmatic activities, curriculum development for medical students, residents and/or fellows.

To qualify for tenure and/or a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine’s Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure ).
