Net Zero with Nature Programme Manager

New Forest National Park Authority

tendersglobal.net

With transformational change needed to address our climate and nature emergencies, this
exciting role will develop and lead our “Net Zero with Nature” programme with partners across
the New Forest National Park.

The New Forest National Park can be seen as an ark for nature in southern England and one of
the most important places for nature conservation in Europe because of the size, quality and
diversity of its wildlife habitats. Conserving and restoring this diverse mosaic of habitats
will increase the Park’s resilience to the effects of climate change, helping it adapt to new
conditions.

You will develop and implement a pipeline of projects that will contribute to significant
nature recovery in and beyond the National Park; develop the work of the New Forest Land Advice
Service and advise land managers on the range of incentives and mechanisms available to
accelerate progress towards net zero and biodiversity targets.

You will inspire and nurture engagement with action for nature recovery amongst National Park
communities and businesses, foster support for the emerging Re:New Forest Nature Partnership
and contribute to a Nature Recovery Service for England’s National Parks.

To help us achieve our Net Zero and Nature Recovery ambitions, we are looking for someone with
experience in delivering nature-based solutions and climate change adaptation programmes,
business acumen and a passion for National Parks. You will have a track record of achieving
results across multiple projects and with multiple partners, have proven programme and project
management skills, be an excellent communicator and have an engaging and creative approach to
devising solutions for complex conservation problems.
