Network Engineer – London/Remote – up to £55k + On call allowance + Bonus + Pension (Once a week in London)

A leading service provider working with enterprise organisations such as universities, football stadiums and hospitals on building cutting edge network solutions. The organisation has around 10,000 staff in the UK with major presence across Europe.

Role

You will be responsible for the design, configuration and on-going maintenance of routing, switching and security devices on site and within data centre environments. This is a proactive environment and will suit candidates looking to take an active role in looking at new ways of working and technical solutions. In particular this role will be designing and deploying SD-WAN solutions.

The role is 60% project focused and may involve rolling networks across new sites, new Switches, infrastructure upgrades and data center equipment refreshes. You will be expected to take a lead on projects, and this role sits in a team of 5 engineers.

Key skills and experience

• CCNA or CCNP
• Experience managing LAN/WAN environments in complex organisations
• Experienced in building solutions with SD-WAN
