We have partnered with a multinational information technology services and consulting company that is seeking to expand their Infrastructure Team!They are seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Network Operations and Data Center Infrastructure. This is a permanent, full-time role and requires a solid experience supporting network infrastructure.The role involves providing 24/7 operational support and managing network infrastructure across two data centres. You will be responsible for resolving incidents, performing network configurations, handling upgrades and ensuring network security across a range of technologies. Due to the classified nature of the project, only candidates with active SC clearance and single British nationality will be considered.Location – Rugby, with 3-4 days in the office
Salary – £75,000
Security Clearance: Active SC clearance required (lapsed SC not considered)
Shift: 24/7 support, with on-call availabilityKey Responsibilities:

• Provide L3-level support for network infrastructure, including:

• CISCO Firepower and FortiGate Firewalls (with IPS/IDS)
• CISCO Catalyst switches
• FortiGate VPN with MFA
• Resolve incidents, configure, upgrade, and secure network devices
• Work with routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP) and resiliency configurations
• Monitor and support network technologies, including load balancers, proxies, and other key systems in the data centre environment
• Utilize tools like ManageEngine OPS Manager, CISCO DNA-C, Nagios, and ITSM tools like ServiceNow for monitoring and incident management
• Document and control Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for network operations
• Provide on-call support for priority incidents

Key Responsibilities:
