We are working on a new and rare opportunity for a senior banking lawyer to join a leading City firm as a Professional Support Lawyer.

The firm is recognised for having one of the leading training programmes in the City and is fully committed to providing fee earners with the best support and knowledge management possible. PSLs are a key element of the support team, and the firm possesses a team of PSLs to cover each key business sector.

Banking and Finance is an area of growth for the firm, and the Partners are keen to recruit a dedicated PSL to support the fee-earning team. Flexible working is on offer and the firm will consider candidates who want to work a 4-day week, and are otherwise open minded to alternative arrangements.

The team works on a range of leveraged and acquisition finance, as well as real estate and project finance matters. They are keen to hear from experienced lawyers with a specialism in any of these areas, as well as candidates with a more general finance skill-set.

Applications are sought from experienced finance associates or current PSLs from other City firms. If they are fee-earner, it is crucial that candidates have already undertaken PSL functions such as precedent management, business development and the design and delivery of training seminars.

PSL roles rarely come onto the market, and even less so within corporate tax, so anyone with a suitable background who is interested should get in touch as soon as possible.
