National Forest Foundation (NFF) is pleased to offer a regular, full-time position to coordinate a program of work supporting a partnership between NFF and the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests and Pawnee National Grassland (ARP). The coordinator will work with communities across Northern Colorado and provide leadership for projects completed in partnership with the ARP.

Position Function: The Northern Colorado Program Coordinator reports directly to NFF’s Rocky Mountain Region Program Manager and works closely with other Colorado-based field staff. The incumbent is responsible for developing and executing programs and projects related to wildfire resilience, wildfire recovery, recreation, and forest health to facilitate the restoration of watersheds, sustainable recreation, lands, and infrastructure needs on the ARP and adjacent federal and nonfederal lands. The coordinator will work closely with the U.S. Forest Service, other federal and state agencies, communities, conservation NGOs, and private sector partners. The NFF Coordinator will be expected to manage a robust program of work in close coordination with partners and other NFF staff.

Location: The location for this position is in Northern Colorado. The position may be based in Fort Collins, Boulder, Idaho Springs, Granby, or another Colorado community near the ARP. Applicants must be able to travel regularly throughout the Northern Colorado Region / ARP National Forest. This position is a work-from-home position and requires reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace.
Compensation: The NFF offers competitive compensation and benefits and has recently implemented a new compensation program as part of our commitment to transparency. The salary range for this position will be in the $63,280 to $79,326 range. Please note that the indicated salary range describes the full range for an incumbent in this position, new staff will generally start near the base end of the range NFF is committed to internal salary equity.
