At Montana Conservation Corps (MCC), our mission is to inspire young people through hands-on conservation service to be leaders, stewards of the land, and engaged citizens who improve their communities. We accomplish this through adventure with purpose, with members in a variety of pistons and programs that can fit individual, conservation, and community needs. POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Northern Great Plains Program Coordinator (PC) position is responsible for supporting and strengthening MCC programs, partnerships and projects in the Northern Great Plains Region of Central & Eastern Montana, Northeastern Wyoming, and Western Dakotas. The PC will be supervised by The Northern Great Plains Program Manager (PM) and together, work to build upon MCC’s drought-resilient initiatives through engaging with a variety of stakeholders on both private and public lands. The PC will bolster on-the-ground restoration project efforts that aim to enhance fish and wildlife habitat across the Northern Great Plains Region. The PC will work across several of MCC’s programs, such as; Individual Placement, Conservation Field Crew, Tribal, and Youth Programs.
