IRCS is seeking qualified and experienced technical support services for its Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The purpose of this Request for Technical Support Services is to engage a reliable and competent team to provide ongoing technical assistance, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support for its NAV ERP system.

  1. Introduction:

IRCS is seeking qualified and experienced technical support services for its Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The purpose of this Request for Technical Support Services is to engage a reliable and competent team to provide ongoing technical assistance, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support for its NAV ERP system.

  1. Background:

The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) is a humanitarian and voluntary organization in Iraq, recognized as a member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). Established in 1932, the IRCS operates as a non-governmental organization, providing humanitarian aid and support to vulnerable individuals and communities across the country. Its mission revolves around alleviating human suffering, protecting human dignity, and responding to emergencies and disasters promptly and effectively.

  1. Scope of Work:

The Technical Support Services should cover, but not be limited to, the following areas:

  1. Insurance and Social Insurance Equations Current System Behavior:
  • Adjust the system to apply deductions (5% of total salary).
  • Implement an additional 12% deduction on the monthly salary calculated from salary of February 2024.
  • Ensure all employees follow the correct calculation method.
  • Implement a report to detail deductions and additions for each employee, including reasons retrieved from Deduction and Addition Journals.
  • Import list of IBAN with employee number from excel to Navision.
  1. Inventory Module Issues

 Ensure that purchase orders and sales inventory are successfully posted if their status is “approved”.

  1. Email Notification for Advance Payment Closure Requirements:
  • When advance payments are closed by the director (on post), notify a specific person defined initially in setup.
  • Notification should specifically trigger for payments made to specific bank accounts.
  • Two copies of the notification should be sent: one to the branch code (each branch with its own email) and another to the specific person
  1. Resolving technical issues:
  • Addressing and resolving any technical problems encountered by users in the NAV ERP system.
  1. Integration users support:
  • To facilitate the addition of necessary NAV ERP users for the Iraqi Red Crescent Society through coordinating with the Microsoft to purchase the required number of licenses.
  1. Integration of user’s support:
  • Purchase Licenses: Ensure that the organization has enough user licenses for Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Licenses can be purchased from Microsoft or a Microsoft Partner, depending on the agreement in place.
  1. Requirements:

The technical support team must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  1. Proven experience in providing technical support services for Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP system.
  2. In-depth knowledge of NAV ERP system architecture, configurations, and integrations.
  3. Proficiency in troubleshooting NAV ERP-related issues and resolving them in a timely manner.
  4. Capability to understand and analyze complex business processes to provide appropriate solutions.
  5. Strong communication skills to interact with end-users and technical staff effectively.
  6. Familiarity with the latest updates and best practices related to NAV ERP system.

 

  1. Timeline:

The technical support services are expected to commence on (01/11/2024 till 31/12/2024) . The contract may be renewable based on satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.

  1. Submission of Proposals:

Interested parties should submit their proposals, including relevant experience, team profiles, pricing details, and any additional value-added services they can offer.

  1. Contractual Details:

The selected technical support team will be required to enter into a formal contract with IRCS, outlining the terms and conditions of the engagement.
