  • University degree (preferably in computer sciences with a specialisation in networks) or relevant professional experience. This includes network certifications.
  • Demonstrated organisational and project management abilities to successfully work as a member or leader of multi-national/multi-disciplinary teams (including consultants), dealing with complex, interrelated technical issues.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network architecture, engineering, and operations, with focus on large-scale enterprise or service provider environments.
  • Proven expertise in designing robust and scalable network architectures for both on-premises and cloud environment.
  • Ability to facilitate/present persuasively and negotiate effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Experience with enterprise wireless, data centre networking and SDN technologies.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including security, cloud, and application teams.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in creating and developing diverse, inclusive and high performing teams through the application of inclusive leadership principles and practice.
  • Ability to work independently, to be self-motivated, to work under stress and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain technological watch in order to propose continuous innovation.
  • Very good understanding of the underlying concepts of IS/IT production.
  • Sound digital literacy with experience in using office automation systems and software applications, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Very good analytical, writing, communication skills and the ability to conduct complex operational, compliance and performance assessments.
  • Strict sense of confidentiality and discretion in the treatment of all subjects and activities directly involved in.

POST DETAILS

  • Basic monthly salary: EUR 9 365.21, tax free.
  • Post is subject to final approval

NSPA staff members of the same grade can submit a transfer request till 23 December 2025.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Qualified redundant NATO civilian candidates of the same grade will be considered in priority.

Interviews are expected to be held approximately six weeks after the application closing date. The Talent Acquisition and Development Office shall let you know in due course the outcome of the screening process.
