• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Communication and Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field, equivalent education, or relevant professional experience. Very good knowledge of Systems Engineering applied to CIS and large-scale system-of-systems development
• Knowledge of emerging technologies of interest to future C2 and Surveillance systems, such as advanced encryption technologies, cybersecurity/threats, advanced automation, cloud computing and service models, and distributed data storage and processing.
• Broad knowledge and understanding of military Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems in air, land and maritime domains.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks and CIS architectures.
• Good written and oral communication skills, including the writing of clear and concise reports.
• Ability to present persuasively and negotiate effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
• Ability to manage time and work effectively under pressure while producing quality products under short notice deadlines.
• Ability to cooperate with international military and civilian staff at various levels of seniority.
• NATO’s official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable.

POST DETAILS

• Basic monthly salary: EUR 7 599,21 to 9 365,21 tax free – before insurance and pension contributions.
