Shift | Varied shift: Monday-Friday, may be Monday-Friday, between 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, may be 3 days/week, 12 hours/day plus 4 hours on additional day OR 8 hrs/day for a week. Scheduled hours are dependent on unit census and will vary week to week. |
Job Summary | The Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) is seeking a highly motivated, professional Nurse Clinician to contribute to the diversity and excellence of our department and to assist the faculty and staff of our fast-paced research center. The CCTS supports campus research professionals to ensure they are able to meet their research goals and ultimately improve the health of our communities and populations. In support of that vision, the Nurse Clinician will conduct clinical research in the CCTS Clinical Services Core. Responsibilities for this position include managing participant visits in a variety of settings (inpatient, outpatient or off-site) while assuring compliance with the research study protocol and applicable regulatory requirements. Following good clinical practice, this position will be responsible for collecting, recording, and maintaining data and source documentation utilizing database management and analytical computer software. Successful candidates must be able to prioritize workload and manage multiple research projects effectively and efficiently under pressure. This position requires a motivated team player who demonstrates flexibility, initiative, professional judgement, and discretion. The CCTS is committed to diversifying our staff and faculty. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Knowledge of clinical research and regulatory requirements related to human subjects research. Excellent oral and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required. Computer MS Windows, and Office. |
