Nurse

Assess and monitor patient condition

· Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for each student.

· Collaborate with other health care professionals to coordinate patient care

· Provide age-appropriate education based on growth and developmental factors, cultural and belief variables and family systems

· Work collaboratively with doctors and other healthcare team members

· Identify and address potential health concerns through screenings and collaborate with healthcare providers for further evaluation if needed.

· Provide health education to students, emphasizing preventive care, nutrition, and overall well-being.

· Collaborate with teachers to integrate health education into the curriculum

· Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and body temperature.

· Recognize and respond to any abnormal vital signs promptly.

· Perform a thorough skin assessment, checking for color, temperature, moisture, and any abnormalities.

· Document any skin changes or lesions and report them to the healthcare team.

· Ensure patient safety during assessments, such as using proper infection control procedures and maintaining a secure environment.

Nurse play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of students within the school environment. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting health screenings, promoting preventive care, and collaborating with parents, teachers, and healthcare professionals to address the unique healthcare needs of children.

Qualifications:

University degree in Nursing, with 3 years of relevant professional experience

Experience:

• Three years of work experience in Clinical Nursing

• Knowledge of outbreak response is an added advantage.

• Mature individual, able to work independently, effectively, and harmoniously with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds at all levels.

• Capable of working under stressful and difficult conditions.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality in performing responsibilities.

• Computer literate on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.

• Training and experience in Vaccination, TB, STDs, other communicable diseases and migration health is considered an asse

Languages:

Comfortable in English, Arabic, and Kurdish is a must.
