Nursery Technician

Provide day-to-day plant care and maintain production plans. The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants and a desire to learn. Pay dependent on experience $15-$18 per hour, with opportunity for increases.

• Full-time, part-time, and seasonal applicants
• Some previous experience preferred but not required
• Must submit a resume including job and educational history, and minimum of 2 references

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Day-to-day plant maintenance
• Prepare soil and growth media
• Cultivate, cut, and transplant native forbs, grasses, and shrubs
• Seed collection
• Mix nutrients and aid in identifying problems with watering systems, plant health, and nutrient/pest issues
• Ability to work in all seasonal conditions and ability to stand for long periods of time
