About the assignment
We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist who can live and volunteer for 9 months in Fiji.
- This assignment seeks to provide support and equip teachers and students with the necessary resources for the therapy sessions
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need relevant qualifications and experience working people living with disabilities
- You will be working alongside parents of the students with disabilities and staff members for the best outcomes for the children
About the Partner Organisation
The Ministry of Education is responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of educational legislations, policies and programs in Fiji. As part of the Ministry’s specific tasks, the special inclusive unit exists to deliver educational services to students with special needs.

Allowance

- AUD $2516 per month.
Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
Additional requirements for this assignment include obtaining a First Aid Certificate.
