- Classification: SCHADS Level 2 ($33.41 per hour)
- Location: 267 Broadway, Glebe; other location as specified.
- This is an office-based role due to the nature of its tasks and responsibilities.
- Reports to: Director of Operations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Office & Administration Support Worker will be responsible for:
- Act as NUAA’s first point of contact in face-to-face, online, mail, telephone queries and where required including meeting external contractors onsite.
- Drive NUAA vehicles as directed incl. to get them serviced and cleaned.
- Assist with the management of distribution and ensure accountability of petty cash, keys, cab charge vouchers, opal cards and IT equipment.
- Prepare F2F meetings and events by setting up rooms incl. IT equipment, organise travel and catering as required.
- Monitor, order and organise office supplies, WHS supplies and resources and ensure cupboards and storage are kept tidy.
- Keep NUAA’s registers up to date including accurate records of all interactions with external stakeholders.
- Provide admin support to Harm Reduction Services incl. data-entry tasks, assisting with stock management and helping prepare for events as requested.
- Assist Harm Reduction staff prepare for events incl. helping to load/unload equipment from work vehicles.
- Maintain a professional appearance of the office including organisation of maintenance activities and repairs, watering plants and keeping the kitchen and other common areas tidy.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within your area of work.
- Other admin related tasks as required.

SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential:
- Understanding of the issues facing people who use or have used drugs illicitly;
- Experience in office administration & office support
- Experience dealing with different stakeholders: attaining quotes, making online orders, booking venues, booking cars to be serviced
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft 365) and the ability to learn new applications quickly.
- Experience in handling and reconciling petty cash incl. keeping accurate records
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to follow instructions while occasionally taking initiative within your area of work
- Willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge
- Current NSW driver’s license
Desirable:
- Lived experience of drug use
- Experience with the delivery of events
- Experience assisting with building management
