Position: Office Assistant

Are you a meticulous and proactive professional looking to contribute to the seamless administrative operations of a dynamic company? Sameer Africa is seeking a competent Office Assistant to join our team. This role involves undertaking a variety of office support tasks and working diligently under pressure.

Responsibilities

Organize and Optimize: Efficiently organize the office and assist associates to optimize procedures.
Communication Management: Sort and distribute communications in a timely and organized manner.
Record Keeping: Create and update records, ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
Meeting and Appointment Planning: Schedule and plan meetings and appointments with precision.
Supply Chain Coordination: Monitor supplies and handle shortages, ensuring seamless office operations.
Problem Resolution: Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues promptly.
Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
Relationship Building: Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
Reception Duties: Perform receptionist duties when needed, portraying a professional image.
Financial Management: Maintain and disburse petty cash efficiently.

Skills

Proven experience as an office assistant, clerk, or in another relevant administrative role.
Working knowledge of office equipment.
Thorough understanding of office management procedures.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
