About Us
Karlka Nyiyaparli Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (KNAC) is the Native Title representative group for the Nyiyaparli People, with approximately 400 current members. The Nyiyaparli People are the Traditional Owners of approximately 36,684 square kilometres of land and waters in the east Pilbara region. This area includes the Aboriginal communities of Jigalong and Parnpajinya, several pastoral leases, and significant mining operations. Locations within the Determination Area are places of particular significance to the Nyiyaparli people, including ceremonial sites, songlines, permanent pools, and natural resources.
Location
This role is located at KNAC’s South Hedland offices.
Position Purpose
Reporting to the General Manager, Community & Corporate Services (GM CCS), the Office Manager supports the operational functions of corporate and community services by facilitating all corporate administrative functions, coordinating meetings and travel procedures, providing high-level and confidential corporate administrative support, and liaising with KNAC members as required. The role involves line management and development of the Member Services Team.

Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Lead and coordinate office operations and staff
- Ensure timely administrative processes and compliance
- Develop and maintain organisational policies
- Provide high-level support to General Manager, Community & Corporate Services
- Oversee corporate functions and facilities management
- Generate reports and attend meetings
- Supervise front office and member services
- Manage office supplies and equipment
- Maintain a safe office environment
Qualifications & Experience
Essential qualifications and experience include:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to follow procedures and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong computer literacy
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
- Enthusiastic, proactive, flexible, and self-motivated
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Driver’s Licence
- Ability to obtain a National Criminal Record Check
Desirable qualifications and experience:
- Tertiary education in Office Administration (completed or pursuing)
- Experience in managing office functions
- Familiarity with WH&S standards and practices
- Experience providing high-level administrative support to senior management
