If your answer to these questions is YES, then there is a unique opportunity by MedTech Europe, the European trade association representing the medical technology industries. We are currently looking for an Officer Market Data to join our Market Data department.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

• Create and distribute global market intelligence tools and reports to medical technology companies;
• Coordinate, implement and maintain an effective market data reporting process;
• Deliver market intelligence insights both written and as part of public presentations;
• Develop convincing and exciting data storytelling projects;
• Suggest and coordinate project improvements;
• Support and coordinate the work of the market data working groups;
• Organise meetings and foster daily communication with multiple project partners from different world regions;
• Ensure projects’ compliance with competition legislation;
• Organise, participate in and moderate relevant working group calls and meetings;
• Engage in industry research and advocacy projects with and support other departments of MedTech Europe.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in either economics, finance, statistics, mathematics, computer sciences or close related field;
• Entry level position with up to 3 years of experience in an analytical and/or project management position where the application of essential business metrics and methods of statistical analysis are used. Prior working experience is required. Experience in a market research function for related industry or trade association is a plus;
• Highest proficiency in and love for MS Excel is required. Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), Pyton, SQL, Azure or other database programs is a considerable advantage;
• Fluency in English;
• Eligible to work in Belgium.

• Fascination with business storytelling and data visualisation;
• Energetic and enthusiastic team player;
• Affinity with attending, organizing and moderating online and in-person meetings;
• Proactive self-starter who can work with minimum supervision.

• A permanent full-time work contract (39h/week) under Belgium law;
