adi Projects Oil and Gas Sales DirectorWe currently recruiting for an established Sales Director to join our team in Oil and Gas and contribute to the company’s vision and success.The RoleIn line with the divisional Oil and Gas sales and business plan, the Sales Director will develop profitable opportunities for the adi Projects business and the wider adi Group of companies from both existing and potential clients within the sector.Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:Pipeline development – Own, develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities at a level to meet the adi Projects sales plan

  • Actively maintain a strong knowledge of the adi Group services, industry, client, sector and competitor trends
  • Work with a variety of internal and external sources to research and analyse prospective opportunities, markets and propositions
  • Identify and attend networking events
  • Engage and nurture relationships across the industry which will generate new business opportunities

Tender management – Manage the end-to-end tender process to deliver profitable new business in line with the adi Projects sales plan

  • Establish and manage a strong network at all levels from across the organisation ensuring senior decision makers are kept well briefed on opportunities as they develop
  • Manage the client interface and relationships attending tender site visits, client meetings, submission interviews, preparation and delivery of presentations
  • In collaboration with the Operational business, design innovative operational solutions that deliver client requirements, along with compliant tender submissions
  • Lead and support opportunities through to financial and commercial closure with the client
  • Ensure smooth hand over to operational team
  • Assist in the mobilisation of new contracts from time to time

Accountabilities

  • Successfully create and lead complex construction/project bids to new and existing manufacturing sector clients
  • Initiate and develop relationships with targeted prospect organisations
  • Convert client relationships and requirements into value adding propositions
  • Deliver individual annual sales targets as set by adi Projects
  • Maintain an up-to-date record of pipeline opportunities on the adi Group CRM/business system

Communication

  • Communicate, to appropriate people, information obtained on such subjects as customer activities, competitor activities, product applications, problems and opportunities in a timely and effective manner.
  • To utilise company systems to facilitate effective communications: Salesforce CRM, e-mail, telephone and all other forms of communications.

About YouTo join us as an Oil and Gas Sales Director, you will need:

  • Extensive experience within the Oil and Gas Industry, leading as a sales professional.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding persuasion, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate people.
  • Management experience, including ability to manage multiple opportunities and achieve sales quotas.
  • Knowledge of competitor research and market trend analysis.
  • Ability to show customers and other client stakeholders the company’s value proposition.
