- Be a part of the launch of new Op shops in 2024
About the opportunity
Join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our newly established (coming in late 2024) Op Shops in Northcote, St Kilda and Moonee Ponds. Lead a team of employees & volunteers, ensuring a dynamic & positive customer experience It’s a great opportunity to be part of a friendly community, it’s lively and varied!
Our Op Shops team are responsible for bringing their creative flair to create visually appealing and contemporary Op Shops. We encourage and build a culture of productivity, imagination, innovation, change and development. Our Op Shops allow you to tap into your natural way of being creative, enthusiastic, and having fun.
Our aim is to delight people in a meaningful and memorable way, while offering positive customer experiences, high level visual merchandising, critical stock and space management, achieving sales targets, and celebrating Uniting’s culture.

What’s on offer
It’s a full-time permanent role, working Tuesday to Saturday. We may be flexible with days for the right candidate – call us to talk about your availability!
You will join a highly capable and competent team that is friendly, helpful, respectful and enjoys a good laugh from time to time.
In addition to base salary plus superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading, 25% discount at all Uniting Op Shops and access to the full $15,900 salary packaging benefits.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for fashion and charity retail and have a flair for visual merchandising.
You will have knowledge of brands and fashion trends and ability to develop, mentor and motivate a dynamic team of employees and volunteers.
