- Retail Award Level 4 position (Inc. weekend penalty rates)
- Part-time 45.6 hours per week, Sunday to Tuesday shifts available
- Permanent position based at our Bendigo op shop

About the role
Join our team and coordinate our volunteers and daily operations of our Op Shop in Bendigo. It’s a great opportunity to be part of a friendly community, from Bendigo regulars to day trippers, it’s lively and varied!
Our Op Shops team are responsible for bringing their creative flair to create visually appealing and contemporary Op Shops. We encourage and build a culture of productivity, imagination, innovation, change and development. Our Op Shops allow you to tap into your natural way of being creative, enthusiastic, and having fun.
Our aim is to delight people in a meaningful and memorable way, while offering positive customer experiences, high level visual merchandising, critical stock and space management, achieving sales targets, and celebrating Uniting’s culture.

What’s on offer
It’s a part time permanent role, working Sunday to Tuesday from 9:09am to 5:15pm. You will join a highly capable and competent team that is friendly, helpful, respectful and enjoys a good laugh from time to time.

In addition to base salary plus superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading, 25% discount at all Uniting Op Shops and access to the full $15,900 salary packaging benefits.
There is also an option for additional purchased leave to increase your annual leave entitlements and access to learning and development opportunities.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for fashion and charity retail and have a flair for visual merchandising.
You will ideally have experience in cash handling, register operations and closing procedures and be confident in supervising a team as well as working on your own.
