  • Part Time (0.75 FTE) Permanent Position
  • Classification: SCHADS Level 2 with a salary range of $63,706- $69,516 per annum pro rata + Superannuation
  • Salary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay, savings thousands in tax each year
  • Location: South Morang, VIC, however remote or hybrid working arrangements will be considered

About your new role

The Operational Support Officer will support and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to consumers by ensuring that staff operating within the Neami Mental Health and Wellbeing Service are provided with office administrative support that is flexible and responsive to their needs

What you will bring to the role?

  • A valid Working with Children Check
  • All staff are required to adhere to Neami immunisation and vaccination policy directives to minimise the risk of vaccine preventable diseases to protect workers, other employees, consumers, and visitors
  • Demonstrated integrity and credibility, and fosters open honest communication
  • Adaptable and experience in contributing to a positive team dynamic
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to relate to people in an open, friendly and professional manner, demonstrating courtesy, tact and empathy
  • Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (This is a genuine occupational qualification under section 8(1) of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth)
  • Significant experience working with people and services within the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Experience and knowledge working with consumers that identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander

What the role requires

  • National Criminal History Check (police check) – disclosable outcomes considered
  • Current Working with Children Check – required before commencement of work
  • Current drivers licence
  • Australian working rights
