Do you have excellent financial management skills and a strong track record of effective
and efficient operational management? Are you an experienced senior leader who can challenge
yourself and others to achieve more? Do you share our vision for how greenspace can improve
Scotland’s urban places and people’s quality of life?

If the answer is ‘yes’, then you might be our new Operations & Finance Manager and we
would love to hear from you.

About the role

This is a new and critical role, leading and supporting the operational delivery of greenspace
scotland’s strategy and programmes. A key member of the senior management team you will work
closely with the Chief Executive and board.

greenspace scotland provides a national lead for action on parks and greenspaces. We believe
greenspaces are at the heart of healthy, happy, thriving and sustainable communities and
places. We need our greenspaces more than ever as we navigate our way through these challenging
and turbulent times: the climate and nature emergencies, pandemic recovery, cost of living
crisis and widening inequalities.

As Operations & Finance Manager you will be responsible for the management and coordination
of the organisation’s key operational programmes and ensuring good financial management and
governance of the charity. You will have a proactive and flexible approach, with extensive
experience of financial management and leading a professional staff team.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference for people and places across
Scotland.
